Getting in Touch
One address, read by a person. Corrections to the water chemistry pages are the most useful thing you can send, and the fastest to get acted on.

What is worth writing about
- A number on a parameter page that does not match the source cited beside it. This is the correction that matters most, because people act on those figures.
- A source link that has moved or died. Agencies reorganize their sites and we would rather know than leave a dead reference in place.
- A product description that no longer matches its listing. Listings change, and the descriptions here are written from them.
- Anything on the site that reads as if it were telling you how to treat a sick animal. That would be a mistake and we want to fix it the same day.
What we cannot help with
We cannot tell you what is wrong with a fish, cannot suggest a treatment, and cannot give a dose for anything. If an animal is unwell, test the water immediately — bad water is the most common cause and the one you can fix in an hour — and then contact an aquatic veterinarian. That is not us being cautious for the sake of it; diagnosing an animal from a description is not something anyone should do, and it is not something this site is for.
Before you write
If the question is “what do these readings mean”, Test Reader will answer it faster than an email will. If it is about a new tank, The Nitrogen Cycle covers almost every question that comes up in the first two months. And if two test kits are disagreeing, My test strips and my liquid kit give different answers is probably the page you want.
Commercial enquiries
Product placement is not available, and no amount of anything moves a product into a troubleshooting page it does not belong in. The affiliate arrangement that does exist is described in full on Affiliate Disclosure.
